The Kennedy Tract is a group of 3 properties making up 45.4 ha (112 acres) of land which was donated by Robert and Freda Kennedy. Located north of Colborne, this protected area of land is mostly made up of a Provincially Significant Wetland (PSW) and is a critical habitat for many plants and animals. As a result of the lack of trails and its designation as a PSW, the access and recreational use is limited. It consists of an alder swamp with an isolated forest island. This property and the adjacent wetlands make up the headwaters of Cold Creek, a regionally important cold-water stream. The Kennedy Tract is located in the Township of Cramahe on 261 Dingman Road, North East of County Road 25.
