It is near the eastern end of the Oak Ridges Moraine, and includes about 67 ha (166 acres) of drumlins, pasture, hayfield, hardwood and cedar forests, and a headwater stream.

At least 7 at-risk species have been documented on the property, some of which make use of the cattle pasture that makes up over 60% of the Reserve. By arrangement with a local farmer, the pasture will continue to be used by cattle from about May to November. The hayfield and the hardwood forest provide more excellent habitat for other species at risk, and we will manage these areas to maintain or enhance these habitats.

A Property Management Plan, to be completed in early 2022, will provide guidance for future stewardship of this exciting Nature Reserve.
