The Lone Pine Marsh Braham Property currently protects 138 acres of Class 1 provincially significant wetland. The property includes the diverse habitats of pond, creek, forest, and meadow. Significant species noted on site include Green Heron, Least Bittern, Pied Billed Grebe, Snapping Turtle, Monarch Butterfly, and Blanding’s Turtle. A large viewing deck overlooks the marsh, and walking trails lead through adjacent fields where Bobolink and Eastern Meadowlark can be found nesting in summer. The parking lot and sheltered picnic area are located at 237 Maple Grove Road, Cramahe Township.
