This 100-acre Nature Reserve contains rolling wooded kame forest and open fields, and is directly adjacent to the Ganaraska Forest. It also contains a drumlin, a beautiful pond, wetlands, a creek, forests, and retired farmland. Seventy-six bird species were recorded here, 22 of which were breeding on the Nature Reserve. We look forward to having birders visit the Nature Reserve each year.

The Northumberland Land Trust gratefully acknowledges the support of Nature Conservancy of Canada who obtained this Nature Reserve from the McEwen family and donated it to the Northumberland Land Trust in 2008 for preservation in perpetuity.
