• You visit Nature Reserves at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety.

  • Permitted activities: walking, snowshoeing, skiing, photography, nature study and observation

  • Prohibited activities: biking, all motorized vehicles, hunting, camping, fires and foraging

  • Before you visit, become familiar with the Reserve property by visiting the NLT website at www.nltrust.ca.

  • No pets on any nature reserves.

  • Stay on the trails where they exist.

  • Do not damage, interfere with, or remove any plants or animals.

  • Carry a cell phone in case of emergency.

  • Be aware of possible outdoor hazards including: poison ivy; ticks; biting insects; falling branches; uneven, steep or rugged terrain; and wildlife such as black bears.

  • Leave no garbage.
