Tickets are now on sale for the Northumberland Land Trust’s 2026 Annual Gala Dinner Fundraiser!
Join us on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre for an unforgettable evening in support of land conservation in Northumberland County. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
This year’s Gala features an incredible presentation by guest speaker George Kourounis—renowned global adventurer, storm chaser, explorer, and television presenter. Based in Toronto, George has travelled to some of the world’s most extreme environments, documenting nature’s most powerful weather events and venturing into places most people would never dare to go. His stories, photographs, and experiences promise to make for a truly fascinating and inspiring evening.
This year’s Gala is especially meaningful as 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the Northumberland Land Trust’s beginnings, when the Lone Pine Land Trust was founded by Murial Braham in 1996. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate three decades of protecting the lands and natural heritage of Northumberland County.
The evening will also feature our always-popular Silent Auction, filled with unique experiences, local treasures, artwork, and gift items—perfect for treating yourself or getting an early start on your Christmas shopping.
Tickets are $140 per person, and tables of eight are available for groups wishing to enjoy the evening together. When purchasing tickets, please include the names and email addresses of everyone attending.
New this year:
-
Seating will be assigned from the front of the room to the back based on the order tickets are purchased, so don’t wait—secure your seats early for the best placement!
-
Charitable donation receipts for a portion of the ticket price will be issued to the name associated with payment. If you register a friend, the donation receipt will be issued only to the purchaser.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone anniversary with you and sharing an inspiring evening in support of Northumberland’s natural spaces.
