Description: This 46 acre nature reserve consists of two forest blocks separated by a wetland complex. The wetland is a mix of cedar scrub and cattail marsh which is heavily influenced by beaver activity. The eastern woods is a mixed forest but more heavily dominated by conifer. The western woodland has a mature mixed forest dominated by Sugar Maple and Eastern Hemlock. The Wilkinsons ran a small sugar bush and selective logging operation on the property for ten years before donating it. The sugar bush is still operational today, run by a local NLT member.
