Description:
This 112 acre nature reserve is made up of a Provincially Significant Wetland (PSW), forests and streams and is a critical habitat for many plants and animals. It contains a large alder swamp with an isolated forest island. This nature reserve and the adjacent wetlands make up the headwaters of Cold Creek, a regionally important cold-water stream.
As a result of the lack of trails and its designation as a PSW, public access and recreational use is limited.
